How quickly can I make an appointment?2019-07-23T14:04:49+00:00

We can usually provide you with an appointment in a short notice. To schedule a New Patient appointment, call our office at (516) 719-0719. The caller should be the parent, patient family member or legal guardian of the patient or a medical provider.

How long are the appointments?2019-07-23T14:05:16+00:00

Initial appointment is approximately 45 minutes and follow up appointments are approximately 30 minutes.

What should I wear?2019-07-23T14:05:32+00:00

Please wear loose and comfortable clothing. Your clothing should not restrict your movement. Ideally wear clothes which will allow us to see the injured area (e.g. shorts or a short sleeve shirt).

What can I expect on my first appointment?2019-07-23T14:05:56+00:00

The physical therapist will conduct a thorough assessment, first by listening to your concerns asking a number of questions, and then assessing your movement and function. Successful treatment will depend on determining what structures may be injured and what else is contributing to the condition.

We discuss with you the diagnosis, prognosis, the treatment plan, as well as likely duration and frequency of treatment.

Should I bring anything else?2019-07-23T14:06:10+00:00

Please bring relevant x-rays/MRI or reports to assist in the assessment. If you have a referral, please bring it with you. Please check with us if it would be appropriate to bring in footwear or sporting equipment (e.g. tennis racquet) to check if they are impacting the condition.
